Theme Resources

The PWOC International Yearly Theme, with its accompanying logo and music, provides continuity among the local PWOCs around the world. The theme can be used to inspire vision and direction for local PWOC board planning. The new theme is introduced to local leaders in May of each year. The Board then begins using the theme at the Fall Kickoff meeting. The theme may be carried through the following summer or the local PWOC may choose not to use an international theme during the summer.

What's the difference between Print Quality and Screen Quality?

Print quality files will be rendered at 300dpi (dots per inch) necessary for a quality printout.

Screen Quality files will be rendered at a lower 72dpi sufficient for a sharp image when viewed on screen. The smaller dpi means a smaller file size which is more appropriate for email/web usage, but not for printing.

What's the difference between the different file types?

JPEG files will fill any background areas with white, effectively placing your image inside a white box.

PNG files will leave any background areas transparent, therefore no white box. This file is appropriate for printing.

GIF files will also leave the background transparent, therefore no white box. This file is appropriate for web or email use, but not for printing.
