What's the difference between Print Quality and Screen Quality?
Print quality files will be rendered at 300dpi (dots per inch) necessary for a quality printout.
Screen Quality
files will be rendered at a lower 72dpi sufficient for a sharp image
when viewed on screen. The smaller dpi means a smaller file size which
is more appropriate for email/web usage, but not for printing.
What's the difference between the different file types?
JPEG files will fill any background areas with white, effectively placing your image inside a white box.
PNG files will leave any background areas transparent, therefore no white box. This file is appropriate for printing.
GIF files will also leave the
background transparent, therefore no white box. This file is appropriate
for web or email use, but not for printing.
